ALL ABOUT ME
I like to make stuff. Drawing, painting, building, designing, screenprinting, sewing, knitting, photographing, you name it. I've been doing this stuff for most of my life, and for the last eight or nine years, I've been getting paid to do so. I've done some book cover illustrations, gigposters, lots of gallery shows, commissioned paintings, tshirt designs, and most recently, I was invited to become a part of the Daytrotter.com team as an illustrator. As for the dayjob, I've recently quit my position as assistant manager at a retail store to work full time as a graphic designer at my small town's local newspaper.
I'm a giant nerd who spends most of my free time sitting behind my ibook, learning xhtml and css, listening to itunes, and writing about music on my mp3 blog, What Noisy Cats Are We.
I have a six year old daughter who is the coolest little kid I know. She likes to make stuff too. Maybe one day she'll grow up doing the same thing as me. That would be pretty cool.

A Few Random Facts
- I'm a hypocondriac.
- I play drums, bass, and guitar.
- I'm short.
- I have 6 tattoos. So far.
- I really really like Smashing Pumpkins.
- People think I'm quiet when they meet me, but really I'm a motormouth.
- I got my first computer in 1984. It was a TRS-80 from Radioshack.
- I like skateboarding. I kinda suck at it, but it's fun. I've been doing it since 1987. I'm really too old to be doing that stuff now. But I don't care.
- I like Grease. And Purple Rain. And Ferriss Bueller's Day Off.
- I read a lot. I mostly like nonfiction stuff. Books about design, art, DIY, all that jazz. And I like David Sedaris.
- My favorite bands of the moment are Smashing Pumpkins (always), Tapes 'n Tapes, Wolf Parade, The Decemberists, The Shins, The Elected, and Bright Eyes. But I like about a trillion other bands.
